Noisy Roof Exhaust Fan

I would first check to make sure the noise isn t coming from a bent out of balance fan blade or loose screen mesh or dome cap that is vibrating.

It was very annoying. The vent hood ducts through a rigid or flexible pipe to a cap on the roof or side of your home. The attic fan tends to makes a humming noise when it has a few blades and is running at a high speed setting.
